Services:
Project Development, Creative Direction & Production Leadership for Complex Art & Cultural Projects
For commissions, exhibitions, installations and long-term artistic projects across institutional, independent and commercial contexts.
-
For ambitious ideas and projects that need direction, structure and a viable route forward.
I work with artists, studios and institutions while a project is still evolving — when the ambition is there, but the direction, positioning, context, partners or route to realisation are not yet fully resolved. I help determine what the work can become, where its strongest potential lies, who should be involved and what needs to be built around it to move it forward.
You might hire me when:
the idea is strong, but the project is not fully formed yet
a new commission needs clearer direction or positioning
the work needs the right context, collaborators or institutional route
the project has outgrown its original framework
-
For complex commissions, exhibitions and installations that need senior leadership through realisation.
I lead projects across physical fabrication, digital production, interactive systems and immersive environments, bringing together artists, institutions, studios, brands, engineers, fabricators and technical teams. I hold the whole picture and make the decisions needed to move the work forward.
You might hire me when:
a large or technically complex project needs overall leadership
several institutions, partners and specialist teams need to work as one
the work is too high-stakes or too fragmented for standard production management
the project needs someone senior to carry responsibility through to delivery
-
For artists who need longer-term development beyond a single exhibition or commission.
I work with artists over time on new projects, positioning, institutional and commercial opportunities, relationships and where the practice should go next. This can include developing new work, identifying the right contexts and partners, building relationships with curators, commissioners, galleries and collectors, and representing specific projects or opportunities.
You might hire me when:
the work is strong, but the wider direction is unclear
a practice is entering a new stage and needs sharper positioning
projects need to be developed and brought to the right commissioners or partners
institutional and commercial opportunities need to be approached more deliberately
-
For projects that are stalled, fragmented, politically complex or under pressure.
I step in when momentum has stalled, responsibilities are unclear, too many interests are competing or critical decisions have been deferred for too long. The first task is to understand what is actually wrong. The second is to establish priorities, make the necessary decisions and create a workable path forward.
You might hire me when:
a project is stuck or losing momentum
ownership, responsibility or decision-making is unclear
institutional politics or competing agendas are getting in the way
delivery is approaching and the current structure is no longer working
-
I work through defined project engagements, longer-term collaborations and ongoing strategic retainers with artists, studios, institutions and brands.
Some engagements focus on a specific project or critical phase. Others develop over months or years, particularly where I am involved in long-term artist development, strategic direction or executive production.
Ongoing retainers give artists, studios, institutions and brands regular access to my time, perspective and creative judgement — to develop ideas, assess opportunities, advise on critical decisions, shape new projects and provide senior input as needs arise.
Selected collaborations include:
