Feral Metaverse

A technically complex multiplayer game-world developed as both artwork and playable system, evolving from a gallery prototype into a multi-site institutional installation infrastructure.
Partners & Exhibitions:
Feral Metaverse is a multiplayer game-world developed as both artwork and playable system, evolving from a gallery prototype into a multi-site institutional infrastructure.
I lead the production and long-term development of the project, structuring how the work scales across institutions, budgets, and spatial contexts while preserving the internal logic of the game-world.
The work requires requires ongoing production architecture: aligning technical development, institutional timelines, financial frameworks, and artistic intent so the project can grow in complexity without fragmenting.

Casino Luxembourg
Screentime/s Exhibition
For the Luxembourg presentation, the production framework had to be structured well before installation.
I negotiated scope, aligned production budgets with institutional constraints, and formalised the contractual framework required for delivery. My role focused on defining the agreements, logistics, and technical parameters that allow the multiplayer system to function once installed.
Each venue introduces different architectural, technical, and operational conditions. The challenge is not simply adaptation, but maintaining coherence as the project moves between institutions.

Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art
If/Then Exhibition
At Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, the project required a full structural rebuild of the original Catapult gaming rig after the previous system had been destroyed.
I led the reconstruction from initial negotiations through on-site delivery, aligning budgets and production scope with the institution while coordinating developers, fabricators, and the internal production team.
The new structure was engineered with improved durability and modularity to support future institutional circulation.
This phase marked a decisive transition: the project moved from prototype logic toward engineered infrastructure.

Mercedes-Benz Art Collection
Prototype Exhibition
Presented within PROTOTYPE at the Mercedes-Benz Art Collection, this marked my first phase working on Feral Metaverse.
The project was developed into a four-player MK-II configuration, integrating Mercedes-AMG materials into the sculptural gaming structure.
My role focused on structuring the production framework behind the commission — aligning scope, budget, and delivery expectations while coordinating communication between the artist, technical collaborators, and institutional stakeholders.
The hosting team executed the installation. My responsibility sat earlier in the chain, defining the technical parameters and production logic required for the commissioned iteration.
This phase established the production foundation for the project’s continued institutional development.

Earlier Iterations
Onassis ONX –New York (2024)
Prior to my involvement, Feral Metaverse was commissioned for Group Hug at Onassis ONX, curated by Julia Kaganskiy.
This iteration expanded the project into an eight-player public installation and marked its first institutional-scale presentation. The sculptural rig became architectural and the game environment fully visible to audiences.
This phase established the technical and spatial conditions that later required sustained production architecture and long-term structural governance as the project began circulating between institutions.
Future Development (2026+)
The long-term strategy expands Feral Metaverse beyond exhibition cycles into a large-scale multiplayer system capable of supporting approximately 100 simultaneous players.
This transition introduces new production layers: backend infrastructure, server architecture, moderation systems, and funding models capable of supporting sustained technical development.
My role focuses on structuring that transition — aligning development budgets, institutional co-commissioning partners, and acquisition frameworks so the physical installation and large-scale multiplayer system can operate as interconnected formats.
The objective is not simply audience expansion, but the creation of a durable production model for a game-world capable of operating across institutions, collections, and distributed digital environments.
